            Pros

            Cons

Gout is most certainly a painful problem. The buildup of uric acid in your blood can quickly become debilitating, if not treated. That’s why we decided to write this Uloric review, to help determine if it truly works as it is advertised. Does it really stop uric acid from building up? And is it really worth purchasing?

            What’s In Uloric?

There is only one active ingredient used in the prescription medication Uloric: Febuxostat. This is a substance that is only available by prescription from your doctor; there aren’t any over the counter options. However, it is found in a few other prescription medications. This is an ingredient that has been shown to help treat gout. It does so by treating the high levels of uric acid normally found in the blood of anyone who suffers from gout.

            How Do You Use Uloric?

The actual instructions for Uloric are fairly clear, easy to understand, and simple to follow. All you have to do is take one pill per day, either with or without food. However, you should follow your doctor’s orders if he or she tells you to take it differently. As this is a prescription medication, meaning that you must see your doctor before receiving it, you’ll be able to ask your healthcare provider face to face about how often you yourself should take it.

            The Cost

As with many other prescription medications, the question of how much Uloric will cost can’t be answered very simply. Because this is something that may or may not be covered by insurance that you may or may not have, there is no easy answer. We can, however, tell you that without any insurance your average monthly dose (a bottle containing thirty pills) will cost approximately $309. That is obviously steep for a monthly supply. However, insurance may lower this price dramatically. There are also certain programs that, if you qualify, can save you money on your prescription.

            Is There a Guarantee?

Like most other prescription medications, there are no guarantees available for this product. It isn’t truly a surprise, however. As stated, no prescription medications come with a money back guarantee, or even a satisfaction guarantee of any kind. It’s par for the course, and something to be expected. However, that also means that there will be no accountability if this product doesn’t work as stated. For something with such a large price tag, that can be disconcerting, to say the least.

The Conclusion of Our Uloric Review

We have learned a number of things about Uloric in researching this review. The first being that Uloric offers as many guarantees as any other prescription medication. Which is to say, none. The second is that it costs a great deal of money to buy it directly out of pocket. For any type of affordability, you would have to have insurance. And the amount you pay is heavily dependent on your insurance. The third is that you must visit your doctor to receive this treatment, taking up more money and time. You should carefully consider before pursuing this treatment.
