The only main ingredient in these capsules is 500 mg of turmeric. While this is the amount recommended by doctors, we found some issues. It is not stated how standardized this extract is. For optimal results, the curcumin needs to be standardized to 95% or higher, and anything lower could be much less effective or just not work at all. These capsules are also missing added black pepper extract. Even though this supplement is pure turmeric, having black pepper extract added into the capsules will allow your body to more easily absorb the other nutrient into your body.
It is important to know that this supplement comes with a warning that one or more of the added ingredients in these capsules are known to cause cancer. For this reason it fails to properly meet standards in the State of California.

The manufacturer suggests taking one capsule, three times per day. If it is the later, and you take 1500 mg of turmeric with these capsules this still will have no effect on how well the supplement will work, unless the turmeric is the correct potency.

We did, however, find many red flags regarding this product. First of all, it is not stated the potency of the turmeric in the capsules. Also, with 500 mg of curcumin, you will be either getting too little or too much when compared to the daily optimal dose. Additionally, there is no black pepper extract to help your body absorb the nutrients properly. Lastly, the guarantee has many stipulations that can make it difficult to actually claim your full refund. For these reasons, we cannot recommend this supplement to help you relieve your joint pain.
